I know its an age old subject, but the price of rental property does not seem to be coming down, despite the credit crunch. However, a friend of mine told me about this company offering temporary accomodation in St Albans and Potters Bar and indeed across London for anywhere from £10 to £60 per week. You need to have look on their website at www.camelotproperty.com My mate says they even have a caravan on a building site in Potters Bar for free!

Dunbar is a wonderfuly historic town with the ruins of its castle overlooking the harbour and many tales of battles and adventure. Dunbar these days is a thriving town which is growing by the day and is still keeping its historic heritage.

Well I live in Leighton Buzzard and work at a Leighton Buzzard storage facility so I can safely say that I am proud of the place. It is a quiet market town, not exactly rocking but we have MK up the road for that. Good schools, reasonably priced housing, less than 1 hour from London, perfect.

Tuamgraney in County Clare is where my maternal grandmother was born. She was a McCormack and her family owned a pub in Tuamgraney. I believe it is owned by the O'Briens now. I have a cousin that still lives there. I have been there from the US five times. I love the country and I love Tuamgraney. It is small;about 10 houses, two pubs, used to be three, and very beautiful. I am sorry that airfare from US is so expensive right now. Eventually I will be back. On my fifth trip in June of 07 I learned that the oldest tree in Ireland is in Tuamgraney. What a wonderful place.

I am writing from Hobolulu Hawaii. The Lithgow family built the ship Falls of Clyde 129 years ago, Bishop Museum Hawaii is her custodian. The Museum has allowed her to fall into disrepair and are now going to sink her in June this year. The Falls of Clyde is the last four masted sqaure rigged ship in the world. What a waste! I am trying to let the the Lithgow family know. Can you help. Aloha Jeanie.

Great place to live and enjoy the ever changing sea scape and the ambience of the forest and beach. We moved here in June from Elgin. What a diffirence in our quality of life. Great neighbours, lots of freedom to walk and fresh air washing over us from the forest and the sea breeze (gales)!
