Bognor Regis is a town in West Sussex, England. It is in the historic county of Sussex. (For more information about the ancient counties of the UK, see the historic counties page and the place types page.) The community is on the West Susses coast, on the English Channel.
The town received the title "Regis" after King George V visited to restore his health in the 1920s.
The community became a seaside resort at the end of the 18th century.
