Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland is a country of the United Kingdom.
Northern Ireland, encompassing the six Ulster counties of Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone, was established under the Government of Ireland Act of 1920. Unlike the Republic of Ireland, which includes the other counties of the island, Northern Ireland is part of the UK.
