Down

From A Topographical Dictionary of Ireland, Samuel Lewis, 1837:
A maritime county of the province of Ulster, bounded on the east and south by the Irish sea, on the north by the county of Antrim and Carrickfergus bay, and on the west by the county of Armagh.
It is partly in the diocese of Down, and partly in that of Dromore, with a small portion in that of Connor.
