Moray

From The Topographical, Statistical, and Historical Gazetteer of Scotland, 1847:
Morayshire - often called Elginshire, from the name of its capital - is the central division of the province of Moray.
It is bounded on the north by the Moray frith; on the east and south-east by Banffshire; on the south by Inverness-shire; and on the west by Inverness-shire and Banffshire.
Also known as Elginshire, Morayshire.
